Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Lindy S, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name doesn’t exactly scream “luxury hotel,” you know? But sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you from the get-go. And honestly, this turned out to be one of those hidden gems that makes you feel a little protective of it, like you don’t want too many people finding out about it.

What really struck me first was how the staff actually seemed to care about what they were doing. I mean, you can usually tell within the first five minutes of walking into a place whether the people working there are just going through the motions or if they’re genuinely invested in making sure you have a good time. At Lindy S, it’s definitely the latter. The check-in was smooth – no weird upselling tactics or confusing explanations about resort fees. Just straightforward hospitality that felt refreshing after dealing with some of the more corporate places I’ve stayed at recently.

The rooms have this interesting balance between modern comfort and character that’s pretty hard to pull off. Everything works the way it should (which, let’s face it, isn’t always a given even at four-star places), but there are these thoughtful touches that make it feel less generic. The beds are actually comfortable – not just “hotel comfortable” but the kind where you might sleep better than you do at home. And the soundproofing is solid, which I always appreciate because there’s nothing worse than being woken up by hallway conversations at 6 AM. The bathrooms have good water pressure too, which might sound like a small thing, but it’s one of those details that can make or break your morning routine when you’re traveling.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to detail without the pretentiousness. You’ll notice little things – like how they actually provide enough towels without you having to call housekeeping, or how the lighting in the room is warm enough that you don’t feel like you’re in a doctor’s office. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which matters more than most hotels seem to realize. And parking was straightforward, no hunting around for a spot or dealing with valet situations that take forever.

I stayed during what seemed like a pretty busy period, but the common areas never felt chaotic or overcrowded. There’s this calm efficiency to how everything runs that suggests they’ve figured out their systems without making guests feel like they’re part of some overly regimented process. The housekeeping was thorough but not intrusive – they managed to refresh everything without rearranging all your stuff, which is honestly an art form.

The 9.8 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there for a day or two. It’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but it delivers on all the things that actually matter when you’re trying to have a good trip. You know what I mean? Sometimes the best compliment you can give a hotel is that it just works really well, and that’s exactly what Lindy S does.

  This is an amazing apartment. Super clean, modern, comfortable, and well equipped. The host is super friendly and helpful. He replies very fast and provides everything you need. Everything in the apartment is completely beand new. It is very well equipped. You can spend a week in the apartment without needing to leave it. From logged in netflix account to a small gym to a super equipped kitchen, you have everything. It feels like a luxury hotel but even better. 🙂

  The accommodation is reasonably priced and not too long a walk to the beginning of the city centre (1,5 km). The accommodation is a first-class flat and the price is good for a place of this size and quality. If you want an flat that is good value and do not mind walking a little, then you cannot go wrong with this accommodation. The bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning not only in the bedroom but also the lounge and kitchen area. The whole apartment, including the kitchen, is well equipped. There are a number of restaurants, supermarkets, cafés and other shops in the neighbourhood. The owner Fanis was pleasant and helpful and was kind enough to give us a late checkout when we did not have to leave for the airport until the afternoon.

  Appartamento pulitissimo e centralissimo, si può tranquillamente raggiungere a piedi qualsiasi cosa! Zona molto tranquilla se si vuole uscire la sera.
  Fanis gentile ed accogliente, abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo le istruzioni per accedere all'appartamento estremamente curate. Appartamento stra-consigliato!!!

  Todo, la ubicación perfecta se puede ir a todos los lugares turísticos andando, tienes tiendas alrededor para desayunar y comprar lo que quieras, incluso hay una tienda enorme para comprar todo lo que quieras a una calle del apartamento, muy recomendable me sentí como en casa, el apartamento tiene todo lo que se necesita, si hasta me sentía como en mi casa tiene de todo lavadora plancha secador de pelo cafetera etc… muy recomendable

  Dès notre arrivée devant la porte le ton est donné : accueil soigné, touche de déco et digicode personnalisé.
  À l’intérieur les promesses sont tenues : une décoration travaillée et beaucoup de confort : climatisation, deux grands téléviseurs, multiprises escamotables, variétés d’éclairages, linge blanc immaculé, douche pluie ou jet, wc avec jet d’eau ou classique, nombreux rangements optimisés, côté cuisine vaisselle impeccable et variétés d’ustensiles. Des lits très confortables, une petite terrasse abritée apporte de la fraîcheur et une alternative pour prendre un petit déjeuner. Il est même possible de parfaire sa musculature pour les plus assidus – un nécessaire est mis à mis à disposition.
  Bref, tout est pensé pour contenter les voyageurs.
  À moins d'une minute à pied se trouve un magasin bio, un café sympathique et à moins de 5 minutes un supermarché bien achalandé.
  Nous avons apprécié être assez proche du mont Lycabette qui était pour nous une visite incontournable d’Athènes.
  Nous nous sommes senti à la maison et les enfants ne voulaient plus partir.
  Le logement est à l’image de l’accueil de Fanis qui nous a toujours répondu rapidement clairement et avec attention.
  Ce petit appartement à tout d’un grand et selon nous c’est déjà une perle rare.
