The building has that classic Athenian charm without feeling run-down, and the location… well, let me just say you’re going to save a fortune on taxis.

What really got me was how thoughtfully this studio is set up. I mean, it’s not huge – we’re talking studio here – but whoever designed this space actually thinks like a traveler. The kitchen area has everything you need if you want to grab some fresh ingredients from the nearby Varvakios market (about a 12-minute walk, and trust me, it’s worth the trek for the olives alone). The bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with Greek mythology all night, and there’s actually decent storage space, which is rarer than you’d think in these compact places. The Wi-Fi worked consistently too – I was able to video call home without any of those awkward frozen-face moments.

Location-wise, you’re really in the thick of things here. I could walk to Monastiraki in about 8 minutes, which means easy access to the flea market and some genuinely good souvlaki spots that aren’t tourist traps. The Acropolis is close enough that you can practically roll out of bed and be there, but far enough that you’re not dealing with tour group crowds right outside your window at 7 AM. Speaking of noise – it gets a bit lively on weekend evenings (this is central Athens, after all), but nothing that decent earplugs can’t handle. Actually, I kind of enjoyed hearing the city come alive, though that might not be everyone’s cup of tea. The check-in process was smooth – they met me at the apartment right on time, showed me around properly, and gave me some solid local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious stuff you find in guidebooks. For a 4-star place with an 8.0 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

  The location is very nice! The house was clean, the bed and TV setup was nice.

  The apartment is well-appointed, comfortable and , most of all, quiet. it is easy to access and close to coffee places, restaurants and small grocery stores. Only suggestion to the owner would be to leave a few Nespresso pods for guests.

  Super kontakt z właścicielem. David jest bardzo pomocny. Apartament bardzo dobrze wyposażony, nowy. Bardzo czysto. Super lokalizacja (blisko metra Syntagma), cicho, spokojnie, bezpiecznie. Możliwość pozostawienia bagaży przed wyjazdem. Polecam!
  
  What could be improved: Ze względu na to że, apartament znajduje się na poziomie minus jeden, do wewnątrz dociera ograniczona ilość światła słonecznego. Co może być jednocześnie plusem w upalne, bardzo słoneczne dni.

  The apartment is in a good central location, and is easy to access from Syntagma metro station which has a half hourly service to and from the airport. Breakfast was readily obtainable nearby and an O.K. local shop is open late just up the hill if you want to buy your own supplies and eat in. The local people are friendly and helpful and often speak English although learning a few basic expressions in Greek helps to break the ice. We would recommend the city walking tour on your first day, as this helps to prioritise other visits during your stay, and our guide, William, was most helpful and informative.
  The bed was comfortable and everything worked, with plenty of hot water, a generous sized refrigerator, and plenty of storage space
  
  What could be improved: The only downside was that the outside patio area does not get much sun due to the height of the surrounding buildings (although this might be a bonus at the height of summer) The shared yard is also a bit of a mess at the moment as the adjacent apartment is being renovated although I imagine this is only a temporary situation. We also found the chairs a bit uncomfortable when sitting up at the table.
  The tram service to the coast is currently not running to the centre of the city and you have to get the metro to 'Fix' to pick it up. We were warned that pickpockets operate at the tourist hot spots but we found Kolonaki, where the apartment is situated, to be a safe and quiet area.

  Extremely clean, bedsheets and towels were hotel level clean. Shower was incredible and toiletries provided were lovely. AC working great (on heater). Bed super comfortable with clean comfy bedding. David was super clear with his instructions and checking in and out was smooth.
