I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Luxury Apartment, Athens Center, “ORION”, I was expecting something a bit pretentious, you know? But walking into this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s got that rare combination of being genuinely upscale without making you feel like you need to whisper in the hallways.

What really struck me was how they’ve managed to capture that authentic Athenian residential vibe while still giving you all the hotel-style perks you actually want. The apartment setup means you get a proper kitchen (and I mean proper – not just a mini-fridge and a sad kettle), which honestly saved me a fortune since Athens can get pricey if you’re eating out for every meal. The living spaces feel lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. There’s this warm lighting throughout that makes everything look golden in the evenings, almost like the city itself is spilling indoors. The bedrooms are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every morning, and the bathrooms – well, let’s just say the shower pressure is something you’d actually want to write home about.

The location is what really seals the deal though. You’re right in the heart of things without being stuck in the tourist chaos. I could walk to most of the major sites (the Acropolis is definitely doable on foot, though maybe not in August heat), but more importantly, I felt like I was staying in a real neighborhood. There’s this little bakery just around the corner that locals actually go to – you’ll smell the fresh bread in the mornings and wonder why hotel continental breakfasts even exist. The metro connections are solid, and honestly, the area feels safe walking around at night, which isn’t something I take for granted in city centers anymore. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood inside and out too – they pointed me toward this tiny taverna that I never would have found on my own and it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip. With a 9.4 rating, I mean, you’d expect it to be good, but sometimes those numbers can be misleading. Not here though – it really does deliver on that near-perfect experience, and I’m usually pretty critical about these things.

  Clean and modern. All needed stuff like coffee, tea, shower gel were present. The host was extremely helpful to suggest where to go to eat and what to see.

  Lovely modern clean apartment an easy 1.5km stroll to the Parthenon (which you can see from the balcony), with secure underground free parking. Extravagant second toilet plus all the facilities for a longer stay in Athens, and the tap water is potable. A bit noisy on the Saturday night we were there but otherwise quiet.

  The hosts were lovely and had detailed booklet with their recommendations for sites/restaurants etc which made it a more personalised experience. The apartment is very conveniently located- very close to the metro. The hosts were very accommodating and helped us store luggage after check-out. The apartment has good amenities- washing machine/well equipped kitchen. The blackout blinds were very excellent! I would stay here again if we come back to Athens.

  The communication is the host is perfect. They answer you almost instantly and make sure to accommodate all your need ! They even give me an early checkin as I arrived earlier.
  
  Also the room felt like you have your own home in Athens. It has everything you would need. This is a true gem and amazing oasis after long day of going around. I love the room so much and wish that I could stay longer !
