Each one feels more like a little apartment than a hotel room, which is perfect if you’re staying more than a couple nights or just want space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The kitchenettes are actually functional – I’ve stayed in places where they give you a mini-fridge and call it a kitchen, but here you could genuinely cook a meal if you wanted to skip the tavernas for a night.

What really won me over, though, was how the staff seemed to understand Athens in a way that goes beyond the usual tourist recommendations. When I asked about avoiding crowds at the Acropolis, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a brochure – he actually sketched out a route on a napkin that took me through some quieter neighborhoods I never would have found otherwise. The building itself has this modern feel without being sterile, sort of industrial-chic but comfortable. You’ll notice the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering you’re in the center of a bustling city, which honestly matters more than you think when you’re trying to recover from jet lag. The 9.1 rating makes sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it nails everything it’s actually going for. My only minor gripe is that the elevators can be slow during busy times, but that’s pretty standard for European buildings that weren’t originally designed with elevators in mind. The whole experience just feels… right, I guess? Like someone designed this place for people who actually travel, not just for Instagram photos.

  Spacious studio, 3 minutes from subway entrance at Monastiraki, located at small street. Vey good check in instructions, nice personnel. Possibility to leave luggage. Plenty of eateries around.
