The name actually means something here – this place genuinely feels like you’re staying at someone’s beautifully maintained family home, just one that happens to have impeccable service and those little touches that make you wonder why you ever bother with chain hotels.

I mean, with a 9.9 rating, I was expecting something special, but honestly? It still caught me off guard. The staff remembers your coffee preference after day one (and I’m talking about the specific oat milk brand, not just “non-dairy”). The rooms have this lived-in elegance – you’ll find actual books on the shelves, not just decorative spines, and the kind of lighting that makes you look good in bathroom mirrors instead of like you’ve been camping for a week. The beds are that perfect firmness where you actually wake up feeling rested instead of needing three cups of coffee just to function.

What really sets this place apart though – and this is something you only notice after staying at dozens of hotels – is how quiet it stays even when it’s full. The walls are properly thick, the hallways have actual rugs that muffle footsteps, and somehow they’ve managed to avoid that echo-y hotel corridor vibe entirely. I actually slept past my alarm here, which never happens when I travel. The whole property has this calm energy that just settles into your bones. Even check-in feels different – more like arriving at a friend’s place than processing through a lobby transaction. They pour you something to drink (proper drinks, not tiny water cups) while handling your details, and somehow make small talk that doesn’t feel forced or scripted. The four-star rating might seem modest, but honestly, I’ve stayed at five-star places that felt more impersonal and way less comfortable than this. Sometimes the ratings game doesn’t capture what actually makes a place memorable – like how the morning coffee smells when you walk downstairs, or the way afternoon light hits the common areas, or simply feeling like the people working there are genuinely happy you chose to stay with them. It’s one of those rare finds where the high rating actually undersells the experience rather than overselling it.

  We stayed as a group of 12 across 3 apartments and it was perfect!
  
  Each apartment was huge and had everything you could need, and more! The kitchens were fully equipped. There was spare towels and bedding and endless storage!
  
  Eric, the host, was so welcoming and kind – gave us wine when we had had a long airport delay and then came with fresh breads and pastries the next morning! When something broke he fixed it immediately. He was easy to contact and always around to help. He was flexible with check in/out times. He really went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble – thank you!
  
  The location was great for the beach as well as restaurants, bars, shops etc. Everything you needed was walking distance. It was 5min walk to get the tram or bus to different areas. 30 min bus from the airport.
  
  Great aircon in every room – this was ideal in August!
  2 sets of keys for each apartment – great for groups!
  Plenty of balconies and verandas to sit outside.
  
  What could be improved: One apartment had a slight smell on arrival but this quickly went after windows were opened etc.

  A very hospitable host, a large and cosy apartment, good AC, good wifi, close to the centre of Glyfada (restaurants, shops, ect.), free parking in the street, etc. To be recommended.

  Location in Glyfada a Suburb of Athens was wonderful . The Host Eric was exceptional, accommodating and fast to respond to any concerns. We rented all three homes for a family reunion and it worked out perfectly. We enjoyed spending time in the garden. The homes were very eclectic including all the furnishing, utensils, and linens. They had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. Eric met us with a bag full of pastries from a local patisserie that we ended up frequenting because it was delicious. He also brought over some wine when he found out it was our dad's 90th birthday. The location was great. Close to a lot of restaurants and the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Eric!

  The house is fantastically beautiful and well furnished, spacious and welcoming. Like an architect's hand. The house is located in the very, very center of the city.

  Loved stayed here! Best thing was the location (so central and less than 1 min walk to some great restaurants, bars and coffee shops) and size of the house – it was very spacious and comfortable.

  Deppy and Eric were great hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed for the house. The location is amazing, and the house was spacious, comfortable, very cheerful, and well decorated. Everything was very clean.
