You know what struck me first about Meraki Apartment by Figleaf? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to its name – and I mean that in the best way possible. “Meraki” means putting your soul into something, and honestly, you can feel that attention to detail the moment you walk in. This isn’t your cookie-cutter hotel experience; it’s more like staying at a design-savvy friend’s place who happens to have impeccable taste.

The space itself feels thoughtfully curated rather than just decorated. I’m talking about those little touches that most places overlook – the way the lighting actually makes you look good in the bathroom mirror, how the coffee setup includes beans that don’t taste like cardboard, and the fact that all the outlets are exactly where you need them (thank god, because who has time for extension cords on vacation?). The apartment-style layout means you’re not cramped into a standard hotel box, and there’s something refreshing about having actual counter space and a proper seating area. The 4-star rating feels spot-on – it’s polished and comfortable without being stuffy or over-the-top fancy.

What really won me over, though, is how the place strikes this perfect balance between feeling special and being genuinely livable. The design has this modern, clean aesthetic that photographs beautifully, but it’s not one of those Instagram-perfect places where you’re afraid to actually touch anything. The bed is seriously comfortable – like, “I need to find out what mattress this is” comfortable – and the whole space has this calm, uncluttered vibe that makes you want to slow down a bit. With an 8.5 rating from other guests, I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way. Sure, it’s not perfect (the check-in process could be a little smoother, and I wish there were more local recommendations provided), but those are minor quibbles. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room – somewhere you can actually unpack and settle in rather than just crash – this is definitely worth considering. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay, which, let’s be honest, is probably the best compliment you can give any accommodation.

  la ubicación buena-cómoda distribución, cocina completa. Ambientes cómodos.
  
  What could be improved: Pésimo estado de las instalaciones ,elegimos este departamento por la comodidad de tener dos baños y ascensor.
  Fuimos con mi mujer y mi hija. En el ascensor de 0.60×1.10mts (solo entraban una valija + una persona delgada)No cumplía con las normas de seguridad ,la pequeña cabina no tiene puerta o sea daba directamente a la pared con alta posibilidad de accidentarnos. Decidimos usar la escalera por nuestra seguridad a pesar de mis limitaciones motoras.
  El termotanque eléctrico no tenia la capacidad para alimentar a dos duchas simultáneamente , por lo que obligaba esperar y bañarnos uno por vez .Los desagües no evacuaban el agua inundándose el baño teniendo que parar con toallas (no había ni secador ni trapo de piso) El anfitrión no se hizo cargo de nada vino una vez destapo la rejilla de una de las duchas.
  (Que luego se volvió a tapar) Ante nuestros reclamos nos pidió que con las toallas detuviésemos el agua para no inundar
  otros ambientes, no apareció ni atendió el teléfono nunca más. Dos cositas más , la caja de seguridad estaba suelta sobre un estante del placar (sin amurar) un día se desprendió y cayo el duchador de un baño.

  The location was excellent and everything could be reached on foot. The property clearly was newly refurbed and needed a few extra things to complete it to an excellent rental standard.
  1. There were no water glasses at all only large wine goblets so we had to use mugs.
  2. No lamps for soft ambient lighting in the living area only the large spot lights which felt like you were in an open plan office and were far too bright. I took a small bedside lamp from the bedroom and plugged this in next to the TV which was perfect.
  3. Need some curtains or blinds to finish off the windows preferably in a colour as everything was very white and very clinical looking.
  4. With a black coloured fridge care needs to taken in cleaning on changeover as there were greasy fingerprints all over the door!!
  5. Kitchen bin liners were provided but ni toilet bin liners. I removed all our waste on checkout and part way through but easier if all sized bags are provided.
  6. There was no tea towel to dry the dishes in the kitchen.
  7. Although we didn't use them the outside balconies really need cleaning and painting to be able to be used by guests especially in the coming summer season.
  With cheap outlets like IKEA and Jysk its very easy to purchase these small items mentioned affordably and this will enhance the property and bring it from good to excellent 👌

  Un apartamento precioso y muy amplio, con dos baños completos, ideal para familias. Todo estaba nuevo, limpio e impecable. Salón espacioso con gran sofá. Camas cómodas. Bien situado, a 20 min aprox andando del Acropolis.
  El personal que lo gestiona es muy amable. Nos permitieron late check out por un suplemento.
  
  What could be improved: En la cocina faltaba alguna cosa de menage. Por ejemplo, no había vasos, teníamos que beber en tazas.
  Hubiera estado bien encontrar algo como aceite y sal, alimentos indispensables para cocinar, pero que usas poca cantidad.
  Está en una calle de mucho tráfico y se oyen bastante los coches y motos.

  Το κατάλυμα το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα. Πολύ άνετες μετακινήσεις, καλή ποιότητα παροχών. Καλά στρώματα στα κρεβάτια.
  
  What could be improved: Ο θερμοσίφωνας χρειάζεται αρκετή ώρα μέχρι να ζεστάνει το νερό σε επάρκεια. Μετά βέβαια το κρατάει ζεστό για αρκετή ώρα.
