I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Mythos Luxury Suites, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from a 4-star property with such a bold name. But honestly? Sometimes a place just gets everything right, and this is one of those spots that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special.

The thing that struck me immediately when I walked into the lobby was how they managed to nail that sweet spot between luxury and actually feeling comfortable. You know what I mean – some places are so polished you’re afraid to touch anything, but Mythos has this warm, lived-in elegance that makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay awhile. The suites themselves are genuinely spacious (and I mean actually spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious), with these gorgeous marble bathrooms that have rainfall showers you’ll probably spend way too much time in. The bedding is that perfect weight where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed whole.

What really won me over, though, was the attention to details that actually matter to travelers. The staff – and I’m talking about everyone from the front desk to housekeeping – seem to genuinely care about making your stay work. They remember your name after one interaction, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re dealing with travel fatigue. The concierge team actually knows the area well enough to give you recommendations beyond the obvious tourist traps, which is refreshing. I mean, sure, the 9.3 rating tells you it’s good, but what it doesn’t tell you is that the WiFi actually works everywhere in the building (even in the elevator, weirdly enough), or that they have this perfect quiet zone around the pool area in the late afternoons when the day crowd thins out.

The breakfast setup deserves a mention too – it’s not one of those sad continental spreads, but rather this thoughtfully curated selection that changes daily. They do this amazing local pastry rotation that I’m still thinking about weeks later. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s traveled knows can make or break a hotel experience. The only minor thing I’d note is that the elevators can get a bit slow during peak check-in times, but honestly, that’s pretty typical and hardly worth complaining about given everything else they get right. This is the kind of place where you’ll find yourself already planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

  An absolutely amazing time staying at Mythos Luxury Suites, the apartment was just as incredible as the views.. the location is very central, yet there was never an issue with noise; it was ideal for exploring the city.

  Extremely friendly and helpful hosts! They take great care of their guests, treat you to ice cream and delicious yogurt – for free!!! The location of the hotel is excellent, everything is very close, great communication to the most important attractions of Athens, to Piraeus and to the airport. The room has everything you need, towels are changed daily. The room is bright and quiet, even when there are city events around. It was great, thank you!

  The property was right above a gelato store and the staff that worked the gelato store was genuinely happy and very very welcoming. It was nice to have met them and how they welcomed us as our very first taxi experience was not the best way to start our trip. As we met the staff of Yum Me and Mythos Luxury Suites, they were incredibly kind and had positive attitudes. We appreciated their presence.

  The location is super central and with a magnificent view of the Acropolis! The host (Soula) is such a lovely person, and she greeted us personally to show us the property. At the ground floor there is also a lovely ice-cream shop/café, which our daughter and us enjoyed daily. We would definitely love to return to this apartment on our next holiday in Athens!
