What I really appreciated was the attention to lighting – you can actually read comfortably in the evening, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong.

Honestly, that 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you experience how the staff operates here. They have this way of being incredibly helpful without hovering, and they clearly know their neighborhood inside and out. I asked about finding a good spot for coffee in the morning, and instead of pointing me toward the obvious tourist cafes, they recommended this little place that locals actually frequent – the kind of insider knowledge that makes you feel like you’re experiencing a place rather than just passing through it. The whole operation runs smoothly without feeling corporate or impersonal. Check-in was seamless, and they genuinely seemed to care that I was comfortable. It’s the sort of place where you can tell the owners are actually involved in the day-to-day experience, not just collecting revenue from a distance.   Very nice breakfast. It was delicious. Staff were very friendly.
  
  What could be improved: WiFi was not very good. Connection kept dropping in and out. The facility needs lifts, especially to get all our big bags up.

  Localisation is great, calm neighbourhood, a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars. Close to Acropoli and metro station. Breakfast was delicious, several options to choose. Very good coffee!

  We especially loved the neighborhood and the cafe downstairs for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was up two steep flights of stairs. Comfortable room, spacious.

  I desperately enjoyed my stay at Neratzia Rooms! I arrived way before check-in, but they welcomed me right away since no one was in my room the night prior. This was super helpful since I was running on only 2.5 hrs of sleep. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the staff was helpful without being super pushy, and the location was in a great/safe location. It's about a 25 min walk from the city center, or a 10 min cab drive. I stumbled across a local market on my first day, which had a lot of good produce. At night, you can tell it's a hot spot, but this didn't interfere with my ability to get a good night sleep.
  
  What could be improved: Not really a bad thing, but the water took a while to get warm. I'm assuming it's just due to the weather though.

  Location is excellent – Acropolis is 15 mins on foot and metro/tram is under 10 mins on foot. Room was clean and comfortable. Received a lovely welcome on arrival with a coffee. Lots of very tasty breakfast options from the bistro downstairs. Small supermarket and other shops practically next door.
  
  What could be improved: First floor room was a bit noisy due to the bar/bistro downstairs but ear plugs were provided.

  Nice rooms located in a very cute area away from the chaos of the more touristy neighbourhoods. The staff is very kind and friendly. The bar downstairs, where they also serve the delicious breakfast, is very nice and lively at night. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
  
  What could be improved: The room doesn’t get fully dark due to a bright emergency exit sign that can’t be covered or turned off. Additionally, the window shutters don’t close tightly. Noise from the nearby bar might disturb light sleepers, but earplugs are provided for convenience
