The bed was properly comfortable (firm but not like sleeping on concrete), and honestly, the shower pressure was better than some five-star places I’ve stayed at. You know what I noticed? They’ve got these little touches that show someone’s actually thinking – like USB ports right where you need them and blackout curtains that actually black out the room.

The breakfast buffet is solid without being spectacular, but here’s the thing – they do a proper Greek yogurt with local honey that’s worth getting up for, and the coffee is surprisingly good for a hotel setup. I spent a few mornings just sitting in their breakfast area watching Athens wake up through the big windows. Location-wise, you’re not right in the thick of Plaka or anything touristy like that, but honestly? That’s kind of perfect. You get a more authentic feel for how the city actually works, and you can still get to the Acropolis or Syntagma Square easily enough. The area around the hotel has some really good local tavernas that tourists don’t usually find – I stumbled into this family-run place two blocks away that served the best moussaka I had during my entire trip. The 7.7 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but it delivers consistently on what it promises. If you want reliable comfort in Athens without paying premium prices for location bragging rights, this place actually gets it right.
