And here’s something I appreciated – the neighborhood has actual grocery stores and pharmacies nearby, so if you’re staying for a few days like I was, you can live a bit more like a local instead of eating out every meal.

What strikes me most is how the owners seem to understand what travelers actually need. The WiFi works properly (tested it on video calls), there’s enough outlets in sensible places, and the kitchen is set up like someone who cooks might use it, not just for show. The air conditioning keeps up with Athens heat, which – trust me – you’ll be grateful for if you visit in summer. I also noticed they stock the basics without making a big deal about it, just practical touches that save you those annoying first-day errands. The 9.3 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed there; it’s one of those places where small details add up to something really comfortable.   Well cleaned and equipped. Very attentive staff. Good location, though to some, the surrounding area might not feel safe, it was. There are also nice restaurants, bars and local bakeries close by. Not the shortest walk to the center, but it was fun for us (30 minutes or so). Safe parking on the same street (20m after).

  The apartment was very welcoming, tastefully decorated, and recently renovated, as shown in the pics. It was clean and conveniently located near charming local shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Despite being on the ground floor, there was minimal street noise, which made for a peaceful stay. Communication with the host was prompt and flawless, with no issues at all. Highly recommended!
