Actually, speaking of coffee – they’ve got this little setup that’s miles better than those pod machines you usually get stuck with.

What really got me was how quiet it stays, even though you’re right in the heart of things in Pagrati. You know how Athens can get pretty intense with the traffic and street noise, but somehow this place manages to feel like a refuge without being isolated. I actually found myself working from there some afternoons because the wifi was solid and there’s this desk area that just… works. The bed situation is spot-on too – firm enough that you won’t wake up with a sore back, but not like sleeping on a board. And the shower pressure? Look, I know it’s a weird thing to get excited about, but after bouncing around Greek islands for a week, a proper shower was basically heaven. The whole place stays cool during those brutal August afternoons, which if you’ve spent any time in Athens during summer, you’ll appreciate more than you can imagine. It’s the kind of spot where you find yourself planning to come back before you’ve even checked out – not because it’s flashy or Instagram-perfect, but because it just feels right.

Hotel in Athens booking should be done early, especially during summer festival season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural and theatrical performances.

  Precioso y amplio departamento, muy bien equipado, con muy buena ubicación justo enfrente de una plaza. Supermercados, bares, y diversos negocios en la zona.

  Mi è piaciuta la posizione, fuori dal traffico intenso del centro ma allo stesso tempo vicino alle principali attrazioni. Il quartiere è delizioso, autentico, frequentato principalmente da ateniesi. Brulica di ottime taverne e ristoranti ed è ben servito dai mezzi pubblici. Della casa, spaziosa e pulita, ho apprezzato Il balcone che dà sulla piazza sottostante. La luminosità dell’appartamento. La cucina ben organizzata. Il frigo spazioso e soprattutto la macchinetta per il caffè.

  Apartment on the upper floor of an apartment building. Everything was clean and tidy. There is a small balcony, but it is too small for more than two people to stay. The seating furniture is also not very comfortable. The location of the apartment is perfect. There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The view is of a small, green square where life goes on in the evening. Less than 100 meters away there is a bus stop for the connection to Sytagma Square. You can also walk to the city center in half an hour. The bathrooms are large and functional with two showers. The handover with the key box and the communication were without any problems.

  Un piso cómodo y amplio para 4 personas. Con mucho menaje y productos de uso diario. Buenos baños y limpieza. Hemos hecho nuestras visitas caminando desde el alojamiento, sin necesidad de transporte público.

  The flat is sunny and spacious and has a large fully equipped kitchen (if you’re tired of eating out). It also has well designed bathrooms. The neighbourhood has some beautiful bakeries and an abundance of good coffee shops. The apartment overlooks a large tree filled square with a children’s park which is a joy to look on in the day. The host was responsive and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The neighbourhood congregates in the square and the surrounding restaurants every night and the noise levels could be a problem for travellers who want a full nights sleep.

  Excellent stay. Luxurious apartment, very well equipped, clean and located in a quiet area from which you can move on foot for your nearest visits. Surrounded by small bars and taverns where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the neighborhood. Thanks to Eirini for her kindness and willingness.
