The three bedrooms are actually three real bedrooms (not one bedroom and two “sleeping areas” like some places try to pull), which means everyone gets their own space and privacy. The kitchen is properly equipped too – I’m talking real pots and pans, not just the bare minimum stuff that makes you want to order takeout every night.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re still very much in the city. Pangrati has this residential vibe where people actually live their lives, not just party until 4 AM. You can walk to the National Gardens in about fifteen minutes, or catch the metro pretty easily when you want to hit the main tourist spots. But honestly, some of my best memories were just wandering around the neighborhood, discovering these little tavernas that don’t even have English menus – the kind of places where pointing and smiling gets you the most incredible meal. The apartment itself has these nice touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need – good WiFi (seriously good, not just “it works sometimes”), proper shower pressure, and windows that actually block out street noise when you want to sleep in. I stayed here during a pretty busy week in spring, and while the area gets lively during the day with locals going about their business, it never felt chaotic or overwhelming like some parts of central Athens can.

  The apartment was well located and spacious enough for a group. Coffee pods and coffee machine worked well. Loved the automatic blinds to keep out light and noise when needed. Hosts were easy to communicate with. The neighborhood was lively with some great restaurants.
  
  What could be improved: A few more basic things in the kitchen like dishcloths and some basic spices would make cooking easier.

  Clean and comfortable. Easy check-in. Amazing safe neighbourhood. Close enough to walk or take a tram to the Acropolis while feeling very safe and homely.
  
  What could be improved: Bathrooms were slightly cold due to the radiators not working. Kitchen sink hot water wasn't working on our first day there but it got fixed the next day after we informed them.

  We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb flat! The space was incredibly clean and spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and feel at home. The location was super convenient, with everything we needed close by, and it was also wonderfully quiet, allowing us to unwind in peace. When we needed extra heating, the host went above and beyond, promptly providing us with a brand-new heating unit. Outstanding service and a great place to stay – highly recommended!
