The moment you step inside, you can tell they put real thought into the renovation. It’s got this modern, clean vibe without feeling sterile, you know? The blue accents they’ve incorporated aren’t overwhelming (I was worried about that based on the name), but rather these subtle touches that actually work really well with the contemporary design they’re going for.

What struck me most was how they’ve managed to maximize the space without making it feel cramped. The studio layout is pretty clever – there’s this seamless flow between the sleeping area and the little kitchenette that makes the whole place feel much bigger than it probably is on paper. The bed is surprisingly comfortable too, which honestly matters more than all the fancy design elements when you’re actually trying to sleep. I mean, you’re not going to remember the gorgeous lighting fixtures if you spent the night tossing and turning on a terrible mattress, right? The bathroom renovation is solid as well – good water pressure (always a concern in older buildings that have been converted), and they’ve got those little toiletries that don’t make you feel like you’re washing with dish soap.

The 7.0 rating seems about right to me. It’s not luxury level – you’re not getting room service or a concierge desk – but for what it is, it delivers. The check-in process was smooth, parking wasn’t a nightmare (though I’d recommend asking about spots when you book, especially if you’re visiting during busier times), and the noise level was totally manageable. I stayed on what I think was the third floor, and even with windows facing what seemed like a busier street, it was quiet enough that I didn’t need earplugs. The kitchenette actually has everything you need if you want to grab groceries and make breakfast instead of eating out every meal – the coffee maker works well, there’s a decent-sized fridge, and they’ve even got real plates and glasses, not just plastic stuff. You know what really sold me on this place though? The attention to small details. Fresh towels that actually felt soft, blackout curtains that do their job, and USB ports right by the bed so you’re not crawling around on the floor trying to charge your phone. It’s those little things that show they’ve thought about what travelers actually need, not just what looks good in photos.
