Ermass Modern Living Apartments Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Ermass Modern Living Apartments, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. But this place actually surprised me in all the right ways. The lobby hits you with this clean, minimalist vibe that feels more like a high-end residential building than your typical hotel setup. You know what I mean? It’s got that “I could actually live here” feeling rather than the sterile corporate hotel atmosphere.
The apartments themselves are where this place really shines. I mean, we’re talking proper living spaces here – not just a bed crammed into a room with a tiny desk. The kitchenettes are actually functional (I made coffee every morning and even attempted some pasta one evening), and the living areas give you space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re camping in a shoebox. The modern furnishings work really well together, though I have to say the lighting could be a bit warmer in the evenings – it’s all very bright and efficient during the day but gets a little harsh after sunset. Storage is surprisingly good too, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying more than just a night or two.
What really won me over was how quiet everything stays, even with other guests around. The soundproofing between units is solid – I never had any issues with neighbors, and the hallways don’t echo like some places do. Check-in was smooth (they seem to have their systems down), and the staff actually remembers your face after a day or two, which is a nice touch. The whole setup works particularly well if you’re in town for business or an extended stay since you’ve got the space to actually work and relax properly. With a 9.0 rating, you’d expect things to run smoothly, and they generally do – though the WiFi did hiccup on me once during a video call, but that might’ve just been bad timing. Overall, it’s one of those places that gets the balance right between hotel service and apartment-style comfort, without the inflated prices you sometimes see at similar properties.
Athens‘s apartments offer spacious accommodations with classical charm, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this historically significant Greek capital.

must admit, I was initially concerned about the location after reading some negative reviews, especially since we were two women traveling. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The location turned out to be very safe. We had no issues at all and felt comfortable walking around, as long as we avoided certain roads leading to less socially acceptable districts. The hotel is perfectly situated, just a 12-minute walk from the city center where everything you need to see is. Truly an ideal location.
The hotel itself was spotless, with daily cleaning and towel changes, which we really appreciated. The staff was absolutely amazing—always welcoming, friendly, and smiling. Bora, in particular, lived up to all the rave reviews about her! She’s full of energy, genuinely kind, and always ready to help. She even upgraded our room and ensured everything went smoothly. The rest of the staff and security were equally fantastic, making our stay even more enjoyable.
If I ever visit Athens again, I’ll definitely book here without hesitation! Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about my stay. The only minor inconvenience was the street noise, which could be quite loud even with the windows closed. That said, we were so tired from exploring that we slept through it anyway.
Highly recommend this hotel for a safe, clean, and friendly stay in Athens!Gary from United Kingdom (9/10)
Very friendly staff, apartment was lovely and clean. Comfortable beds and location was great. Numerous shops and cafes near by and about a 30 min walk to Acropolis.

The hotel was clean, spacious and had a luxury feel to it. The rooms are huge with a high ceiling, comfy beds and the bathrooms are lush. We were upgraded to a superior double room which was great. There is a garden terrace which has great views of Athens to have a drink or watch the sun set. The staff were second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated early check in after we had a mishap with the air BnB we initially booked. And then on the final day, I had unfortunately become unwell. They let us stay in the room until our flight and the staff told us where I could go and see a doctor to get some anti biotics. It’s only a short walk from the main square or a 2 minute walk to the metro station. We are a young British couple and this felt perfectly safe. They also have a gym and sauna which were under construction as it’s off season but due for completion early 2025 I think.
