I mean, Athens apartments can be pretty compact, but this one has space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The kitchen is functional enough that you could cook if you wanted to (though with all the tavernas around, why would you?), and the bathroom has decent water pressure – not always a given in older buildings here. The 4-star rating feels right; it’s not luxury, but everything works and it’s thoughtfully put together. The Wi-Fi was solid, which matters if you’re trying to upload all those Parthenon photos without waiting forever.

Actually, the 8.8 rating makes total sense after staying there. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t wow you with fancy amenities, but gets all the basics right and then some. The beds are actually comfortable – not just “acceptable for vacation” comfortable, but legitimately good sleep comfortable. And the building is quiet enough at night, even though you’re in a pretty central area. I was worried about street noise, but the windows are decent and Athens isn’t as chaotic as some Mediterranean cities once the evening rush dies down. Check-in was smooth too; the property management company seems to have their act together, which isn’t always the case with vacation rentals. You get the feeling they’ve thought through what travelers actually need rather than just checking boxes on some hospitality checklist.

  Great location, less than 10 min walk to Acropolis and many restaurants. Quiet at night, elevator in building, and secure. Ac in each room. Large stocked kitchen, washing machine (no dryer- but things dry quickly there). 3 spacious bedrooms with plenty of cabinets and 2 full bathrooms.

  The apartment is large and comfortable. It is walking distance to the Acropolis and there are lots of restaurants nearby but there is a lot of graffiti in the area. The AC was nice. There are multiple balconies but we didn’t use them due to the heat. This unit is advertised as having two pull out couches but they do not give you linens for them. Booked this so kids wouldn’t have to share a bed and then they had to share anyway. Owner wanted an extra $15 to bring another sheet.

  Easy walking distance to all the sight. Apartment is very clean with modern facilities and quiet .

  My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is on the third floor with a lift. It is within easy walking distance of several supermarkets, many restaurants and lots of transport options. The Acropolis was a five minute walk away.
  
  The apartment is huge and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. There were two bathrooms, which was great for our family size.
  
  The beds were super comfy, and there was plenty of storage room for our clothes.
  
  The owner was really friendly and let us know that she was there for everything we needed.
