The lobby has this calming vibe that actually lives up to the name, with these subtle blue tones throughout that somehow don’t feel overdone or theme-park-ish. You know what really impressed me though? The staff genuinely seemed happy to be there, which sounds like a small thing but makes such a difference when you’re dealing with travel fatigue.

The rooms are where Sky Blue really shines – and I mean that literally because the natural light situation is fantastic. I’m usually pretty picky about hotel beds (aren’t we all?), but I actually slept better here than I do at home, which rarely happens. The bathroom setup is smart too, with enough counter space that you’re not playing Tetris with your toiletries. One thing I noticed is how quiet it stays even during what should be busy hours – I’m guessing they invested in decent soundproofing because I never heard hallway conversations or slamming doors. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere in the building, including the elevators, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024 but somehow still is.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The coffee in the rooms is surprisingly good – not that terrible hotel coffee you choke down because you’re desperate for caffeine. Check-in was genuinely smooth, no standing around waiting while they “find your reservation.” The housekeeping staff has this thing figured out too; they clean efficiently without moving all your stuff around, which drives me crazy at some places. I mean, with a 9.3 rating, you’d expect excellence, but Sky Blue delivers it without feeling stuffy or trying too hard. It’s the kind of hotel where you can tell they’ve thought through the guest experience from someone who actually travels, not just from a corporate manual. Whether you’re there for business or just exploring the area, you’ll find yourself genuinely relaxed instead of just… well, housed.

  We had one week in Athen. Everything in this area is very nearby the traffic jam with activity 24/7. However, it has one of the best locations with beach and the citycenter just outside the door.
  The seaview from this apartment are awesome and you can enjoy it from the private outdoor terrace. We had an excellent week, so all in all a very good apartment.

  Die Unterkunft war äußerst sauber und gepflegt, und es mangelte an nichts. Jedes Detail schien sorgfältig durchdacht zu sein, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm machte. In diesem Ambiente fühlte man sich wirklich wie zu Hause.
