Here’s the thing about the location that took me a while to appreciate: it’s not right in the thick of Plaka where all the tourist crowds gather, but you’re still close enough to walk to the major sites without breaking a sweat. I found myself taking these pleasant 10-minute strolls to reach the main attractions, but coming back to a neighborhood that feels more authentic and lived-in. There’s this little bakery around the corner that locals actually use (you’ll smell the fresh bread in the mornings), and a couple of tavernas nearby where you won’t find anyone holding a guidebook. The metro connections are solid too – I never waited more than a few minutes to get anywhere I needed to go.

What sets this place apart, though, is the attention to those small details that make traveling less of a hassle. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, the WiFi actually works throughout the apartment (even in the bathroom, if that’s your thing), and they provide these little touches like quality toiletries and decent coffee that show they’re thinking about what guests actually need. I mean, the towels are thick and the shower pressure is strong – simple stuff, but it matters when you’re dealing with Athens’ summer heat and long days of sightseeing.

The staff knows the city well and gave me recommendations I never would have found otherwise. The apartments feel more like temporary homes than hotel rooms, and after a week there, I was genuinely reluctant to leave.   Everything was perfect; we had an unbeatable view of the Acropolis from the eighth floor, and the location was also very simple and easy to find in the city center. Before we arrived, we checked the reviews, and we were more satisfied than we thought. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was very clean; we had to meet the staff several times, and they were very attentive. In the end, a high recommendation to me, if I come to Athens again I will go to the same place, we even found candies in the room which was a pretty nice gesture
