Vivo Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Vivo Apartments in Marousi, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical hotel setup. It’s actually more like a well-designed residential building that happens to welcome travelers — which, honestly, is exactly what makes it work so well. The entrance feels understated but polished, and there’s something refreshing about checking into a place that doesn’t scream “tourist accommodation” from every corner.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location in Marousi — you’re genuinely in a neighborhood where Athenians actually live and work. The area around Neapoleos street has this nice mix of cafes, small shops, and office buildings, so you get to see how the city really functions beyond the tourist zones. It’s about 20 minutes to central Athens by metro, but honestly, I found myself enjoying just wandering around this part of town. The couples who stay here clearly get it too, rating the location over 9 out of 10, and I can see why.
The Apartment Experience
The room I stayed in felt more like borrowing a friend’s well-appointed apartment than staying in a hotel. Everything’s thoughtfully designed without being fussy — good lighting, comfortable furniture, and a kitchen setup that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the local market. The four-star rating feels right; it’s polished and comfortable without trying to be something it’s not. You know what really impressed me? The little details, like having proper hangers in the closet and enough outlets where you actually need them. The bedding is premium quality and the bathroom fixtures are modern and well-maintained.
Practical Perks
The building has reliable wifi throughout, which matters when you’re trying to plan your Athens itinerary or catch up on work. There’s also parking available, which is honestly a blessing in this city if you’re driving. The staff runs things efficiently without being overly formal — they’ll give you solid recommendations for nearby spots but won’t hover. I appreciated that they seemed to know the neighborhood well enough to suggest places that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps. The common areas are clean and welcoming for guests who want to relax.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it lets you experience Athens like you’re actually living here temporarily, not just passing through. The location gets consistently high marks because it strikes that perfect balance — close enough to everything important, but far enough from the chaos to feel like you can breathe. You’re near the metro line that connects you to both the airport and the city center, plus there are decent restaurant options within walking distance. It’s the kind of place where you can easily imagine extending your stay because it just feels… normal, in the best possible way. Guests consistently praise the authentic neighborhood experience and the thoughtful amenities throughout the property.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Athens at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near ancient attractions.

It is the second time we stay here. The area is beautiful, close to the hospital we wanted to visit. Clean place, quite, big room, value for money. Even had some biscuits, croissants and juice for us in the room. Thank you..

The apartment is close to the Olympic Stadium (2004). It is far away from the metro line but several buses going there.
Gillian from United Kingdom (9/10)
We were in apartment 13, it was comfy, spacious and clean. Everything was provided for your stay, even coffee and fruit juice. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was good. It is in a quiet residential area very close to the Olympic Stadium which was excellent for us. About a 10 minute walk you are on the main bus routes into the centre of Athens. We had an excellent stay, just wish we’d had an extra day to see more of the sights of Athens. Also great communication from the hosts with the self check in process and general information.
