But this spot in Voula – it’s different. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone who actually cares about design put thought into every corner. The living spaces flow together really naturally, and I love how they’ve managed to make it feel both sophisticated and livable at the same time. You’re not afraid to put your feet up on the couch, if you know what I mean. The bedrooms are genuinely spacious too (not just “cozy” which we all know is real estate speak for tiny), and the master has this amazing light in the mornings. Actually, the whole place gets incredible natural light – something about the way it’s positioned that makes even cloudy days feel bright.

What I really appreciate about staying here is how it feels like you’re living in Voula rather than just visiting. The neighborhood has this authentic Greek coastal vibe that hasn’t been completely overtaken by tourist development yet. You can walk to some genuinely good local tavernas – the kind where you’ll hear more Greek than English – and the beach access is honestly better than what you’ll get at most of the big resort hotels in the area. Plus, and this might sound silly but it matters when you’re traveling, the wifi actually works everywhere in the apartment. I’ve stayed in plenty of “4-star” places where you have to sit in one specific corner of the living room to get a decent connection.

The only minor thing I’d mention (and this is really nitpicking) is that the building can get a bit echoey in the hallways during busy periods, but honestly, once you’re inside with the door closed, it’s perfectly quiet. The host clearly knows what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, everything was exactly as described, and they left these thoughtful little touches that show they actually want you to enjoy your stay rather than just process you through. With a 9.4 rating, you can tell other travelers have had the same experience I did. It’s the kind of place you end up recommending to friends without any hesitation, because you know they’ll thank you for it later.

  Die Lage, zentral alles in der Nähe, ruhig in der Nacht. Toll, dass die Wohnung im 4. Stock ist. Renovierte Wohnung, alles wirkte sehr neu und unverbraucht.
