You know what struck me first about Zoe’s Studio? It’s one of those places that feels like someone actually lives there – and I mean that in the best possible way. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that whoever designed this space really thought about how people actually move through their day, not just how a room should look in photos.

The studio setup is honestly pretty clever. Instead of cramming everything into awkward corners like a lot of boutique places do, they’ve created these distinct zones that flow into each other naturally. The sleeping area doesn’t feel like it’s fighting with the living space, and there’s actually enough room to open your suitcase without having to shove furniture around – trust me, that’s rarer than it should be. The kitchen area is small but functional (I mean, really functional, not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), and I appreciated having actual counter space to set down coffee or unpack groceries. The whole place has this warm, lived-in quality that makes you want to settle in rather than just crash for the night.

What really won me over, though, was the attention to those little details that most places completely miss. The lighting is actually thoughtful – you’ve got options beyond the harsh overhead fluorescent or a single dim bedside lamp. There are enough outlets in logical places, the WiFi doesn’t mysteriously cut out every twenty minutes, and honestly, the bed was legitimately comfortable. Not just “fine for a few nights” comfortable, but the kind where you actually sleep well. The whole vibe strikes this nice balance between feeling polished and professional (this is definitely a proper 4-star spot) but without that sterile, don’t-touch-anything atmosphere some boutique places can have. It’s the kind of place where you could easily extend your stay without feeling like you’re roughing it, but you’re also not paying for a bunch of fancy amenities you’ll never use. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the sort of place that just works really well for what it is, and you leave thinking “yeah, I’d definitely stay here again.”

  The apartment has the basics you need. The location is okay- on a street that’s quiet and surrounding by auto repair shops. The neighborhood isn’t charming, but it felt safe and the walk to the bus and metro was about 10 minutes. It’s a suitable budget holiday apartment.
  
  What could be improved: Wish the neighborhood was a little more charming and the bed felt worn (could feel the springs of the mattress).

  Very clean and spacious. Great apartment with ease of access. Nice kitchen, fridge and microwave if needed.
  Secure front door and apartment door. 2 spacious bedrooms plenty of clean towels. Would definitely recommend staying here.

  I love this place, it is like being home. It's my second time that I booked this apartment while I am staying in Athens. Very comfortable and very close to the metro station and main attraction by walk. I highly recommend it.

  The location was very good. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, public transport and an easy walk to the Acropolis. The instructions to enter the property were terrific.

  The communication with the host was fantastic – they responded right away to all our messages, and the instructions vere very clear.
  We loved the thick sheets :-)! And the bathroom was very nice. The place was very close to public transportation and to the Acropolis.
  There was complementary water, coffee, juice and a bottle of wine – thank you :-)!
  
  What could be improved: When we got inside we expected to find a key for the outside door, but there was none. However, the button described in their instructions worked to open the outside door every time.
