I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Athens Woo Suites, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But after staying there, I get why this place has such an incredible 9.6 rating. It’s one of those hotels that just gets the details right, you know?

The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how travelers feel after a long day of exploring Athens. The suites themselves are what really won me over though – and I mean properly spacious suites, not those tiny European hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. The living areas have this cozy but sophisticated vibe, with enough space to actually spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. What I loved most was the attention to lighting – there are actually enough lamps and outlets that you can read comfortably or charge all your devices without playing musical chairs with the furniture. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped too, which came in handy when I wanted to grab some local ingredients from the markets and have a quiet breakfast before heading out.

The service here is honestly what pushes it into that rare territory of hotels you’d actually want to return to. The staff has this knack for being helpful without hovering – they seem to genuinely know Athens well and can point you toward the less obvious spots that locals frequent. I remember asking about where to find good coffee in the morning (not tourist coffee, but actual good coffee), and the front desk guy gave me directions to this tiny place about a ten-minute walk away that I never would have found otherwise. The housekeeping is thorough but unobtrusive – I never felt rushed to leave my room, and everything was always restocked properly. Even the check-in process was smooth, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places make that unnecessarily complicated. The building itself is quiet too, which in a city like Athens is actually quite an achievement. You’ll hear the city humming outside, but it’s more of a pleasant urban backdrop than disruptive noise. With a 4-star rating that feels like it’s earned rather than inflated, Athens Woo Suites is the kind of place that makes you feel like you made a smart choice rather than just an expensive one.

  Rooms are beautiful and immaculate. Breakfast is delicious with generous portions. Staff are all kind and helpful. Great location. We've been to many hotels in Athens over the years, Athens Woo is superior!

  I have stayed in many, and I mean MANY hotels, and I would rate Woo higher than some 5* hotels and resorts I’ve stayed in.
  
  – The level of service and attention to detail from every single member of their staff is unparalleled.
  – The breakfast was large, beautiful, and tasty, and if you need to leave earlier than the breakfast hours, they will pack what you choose and deliver it at the required time.
  – The bed was comfortable, the shower was huge, the living room was comfortable, and everything felt well organized and stylish.
  – The location is also amazing, right in the middle of everything and at a walking distance from most attractions.

  The suite was wonderful with a view of the square, everything was impeccably clean, and every detail was considered. Everything exceeded our expectations. The receptionists, Chrysoula and Angeliki, were wonderful to us and helped us with everything that interested us. The best accommodation we have stayed in recently.

  Woo Suites is a small boutique suite hotel. The rooms are massive. It'a nice to have a separate living space from the bedroom and bathroom. Our suite overlooks the square with a stunning church right outside our window. Others offer Acropolis views.
  The beds and pillows are very comfortable. After many international travels, my husband and I know this can be the deal breaker for a stay after a long journey. Woo nails it with high end linens and various pillow types on offer. The suites are extremely clean and modern and the shower is fantastic.
  They offer breakfast served in your room daily, which is included. It’s an unbelievable spread such that we typically didn’t end up eating lunch each day as breakfast was so filling. Everything was fresh and nothing overly processed.
  The location can’t be beat. We have Monastiraki Sqaure to our left and Syntagma to our right. Metro station close by but absolutely everything has been walkable and easily so. The hardest decision each night has been sorting which restaurant to try for dinner as there are so many in the area. But the Woo team helped there too, offering us a curated list of their local favorites. Every suggestion was fantastic.
  Most of all, the team here is top notch. They can’t do enough for you. When we had an early tour one day, they took care to pack our breakfast to go, even including their amazing cappuccinos and lattes for us. Try the pear/pineapple/ginger juice. You’re welcome 🙂 Housekeeping is impeccable and the team greets you by name daily, offering recommendations and generally thinking of every tiny detail to make your stay perfect.
  We went back and forth between choosing the Grande Bretagne, The Dolli or the Woo for our stay. We ended up selecting the Woo Suites for the space, location and modern style of rooms. 100% the right decision for us as they brought so much more to our stay. If you’re giving a think to whether or not to book Woo Suites, don’t hesitate.

  Woo was an exceptional property. I would start with the Staff, always super friendly and helpful. Great room, great breakfasts (custom everyday to your wishes). We were so happy there for 4 nights. Good recommendations for places to eat. We found the location to be ideal.
