I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Chic Centre Suites Athens, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. But you know what? Sometimes the places that sound a bit generic online actually surprise you the most. This 4-star spot really does live up to its “chic” billing, and after staying here a few times over the years, I can tell you it’s become one of those reliable favorites that I keep coming back to.

The suites themselves are what really set this place apart from your typical Athens hotel room. I mean, you’re getting actual space here – not just a bed crammed next to a tiny desk. The living areas feel genuinely liveable, which is pretty rare in the city center where every square meter costs a fortune. The kitchenettes are actually functional too (I’ve cooked proper meals in mine, not just reheated leftovers), and the bathrooms have those rainfall showers that make you want to stay in longer than you probably should. What I really appreciate is how they’ve managed to keep things modern without going overboard with trendy stuff that’ll look dated in two years. The design feels sort of timeless, if that makes sense – clean lines, neutral colors, but with enough personality that it doesn’t feel sterile.

Location-wise, you’re right in the thick of things without being on one of those crazy busy streets where scooters are buzzing past your window at all hours. I’ve never had trouble sleeping here, which honestly surprised me the first time since Athens can be pretty noisy. The staff actually knows the neighborhood well too – they’ve pointed me toward some fantastic little tavernas that I never would have found on my own, places where locals eat rather than the tourist traps. Check-in is usually smooth, though I’d recommend arriving after 2 PM because they’re sometimes still cleaning rooms if you show up earlier (learned that one the hard way). The 8.8 rating it’s got online feels about right – it’s not perfect, but the things it does well, it does really well. My only minor complaint is that the WiFi can get a bit spotty during busy evening hours, but honestly, that’s half the hotels in Athens. If you’re looking for a place where you can actually spread out and feel at home while exploring the city, this is definitely worth considering.

  It was amazing, hosts are great, we asked for 2 baby cribs and they have provided, also endless towels lol!
  
  What could be improved: Sometimes there are sounds and you can hear the people going out due to the fact that the apartment is facing the outside doors. Also when you flush the toilet, there is a smell that comesout but disappears in a few minutes

  This is one of the best places we stayed at.
  The staff/owner are amazing. They were very professional and helpful and accommodated all our needs! The location is perfect. Very central and a walking distance to everything in Athens downtown. We highly recommend this place. Especially room Santorini and room Ermou
  
  What could be improved: It might be a bit noisy. But we didn’t bother much because we were out most of the time. And the location is worth it honestly. I don’t think it’s a reason not to stay at this property.

  Very close to the heart of the city, many shops, pubs and cafes nearby. We have spoken to a lady in the reception on our last day, her communication was great and she helped us with some local recommendations 🙏🏻
  
  What could be improved: Its located inside of a multi-purpose commercial building, there was a construction work upstairs when we were staying, was a bit noisy but its a nature of those type of buildings so, it was ok for us.

  We stayed at Grey Suites.
  A new and clean suite with a kitchenette, living room, and dining area.
  First of all, the location is excellent.
  The room was large and spacious.
  The facilities in the room were of the highest standard.
  The bed was very comfortable.
  The staff was amazing and welcoming.
  The luggage storage service was truly helpful on our first and last day.
