Honestly, the whole place sits in that sweet spot between historic charm and practical comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in Athens. The air conditioning actually cools the place down – trust me on this, it matters more than you think during those scorching July afternoons when the city feels like an oven.

What I really appreciate is how the location works in practice, not just on paper. You’re close enough to the Acropolis that you can walk there without planning your whole day around it, but far enough that you’re not dealing with tour bus exhaust and crowds of people following umbrella-wielding guides right outside your window. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel where you’ll hear actual Athenians going about their day – kids playing in the evening, the coffee shop owner chatting with regulars, that sort of authentic city rhythm. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (well, parking anywhere in central Athens is an adventure), but the public transport connections are solid. I found myself using the apartment as a proper home base rather than just a place to crash, which doesn’t always happen with vacation rentals. The 9.1 rating makes total sense when you experience how the Acropolis view changes throughout the day – morning light hits those ancient stones completely differently than the golden hour glow, and having front-row seats to that daily show never gets old, even after a week-long stay.

  Location perfection! Beyond perfect – so easy to get around from there, with a few good restaurants, a stone's throw from the Hop On Hop Off buses, we couldn't believe our good fortune in securing this apartment. Instantly homely, all the facilities were first class, finished to a very high standard, cosy and personal whilst being luxe.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing bad to say about the apartment at all – we would go back again and again if we could!

  It was under the Acropolis. Spartas Corner Cate across the street. Liked having two bedrooms. Furniture was lovely We loved the elevator!
  
  What could be improved: No one met us to show us how to unlock door or other quirks of the apartment. Had to take out trash with no information on how or where to take it.

  fabulous central location, in a great part of the city. wonderful views from the balcony. Large, spacious Quirky apartment, with individual style. most comfortable beds, and huge amounts of storage. excellent communication, service and support from the Company throughout. highly recommend the airport transfer service.

  It is a beautiful apartment in an excellent location, walking distance to the Acropolis and Plaka.
  
  What could be improved: You could hear the elevator from one of the rooms. Everytime somebody used the elevator you could hear the mechanics and the people inside of it.

  Size of apartment, location looking upto the Acropolis. George the host was lovely. Great location for most activities. There is a hill running upto the road, so some may struggle walking up there. 100% recommend this property.
  
  What could be improved: Smelly drains inside the apartment. Second toilet & shower too small. Entrance door locked from inside, that's a fire risk. Poor lighting on mable staircase running upto apartment. None of which would put us off staying again.
