You know what really struck me about Momo Suites, Acropolis by Aura Homes? It’s one of those places that feels way more expensive than it actually is. I mean, when you’re dealing with anything near the Acropolis, you sort of brace yourself for tourist trap pricing and mediocre quality, but this place honestly surprised me in the best way possible.

The suites themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully modern – not trying too hard to be trendy, but clearly someone put real consideration into the layout. The kitchenette situation is actually functional (I’ve stayed in too many “suites” where the kitchen is basically decorative), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase the whole time. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing – Athens can get pretty lively, especially during summer evenings, but I slept through everything. The air conditioning works properly too, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but… well, if you’ve traveled around Greece in July, you know why I’m mentioning it.

The location is where this place really shines, though. You’re close enough to walk to all the major sites without feeling like you’re trapped in the absolute chaos of the main tourist corridors. I could grab proper coffee from the local spots in the morning (not just hotel lobby coffee), and there are actual neighborhood restaurants within a few blocks where you’ll see Greek families eating – always a good sign. The metro connections are solid if you want to venture further out, and honestly, after a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to come back to a place that felt more like a temporary home than just another hotel room. The staff seemed to actually know the area well too – they pointed me toward this little taverna that I never would have found otherwise, and it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip. The 8.9 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it nails what it’s going for. For the price point and the location, I’d definitely stay here again.

  The location is the highlight of this property: it is perfectly located near Monastiraki, Psiri and Plaka, we could visit all the main attractions in Athens walking. The Acropolis is 15 minutes walk from Aura and the metro station to the airport is really close. Hadrian’s library, Agora and lots of restaurants are just few steps from the apartment. The studio was spacious, clean and well equipped. Antonia sent us all the check in details – super easy with her instructions – and was very kind.

  Very centrally located, walking distance to everywhere. We reached the Acropolis in 15 minutes. The facilities of the apartment were very good. It was very easy to get in and out with the instructions given before arrival. Also, the communication of the apartment owners was good, they helped us to arrange a taxi for the return trip 🙂 We stayed for 3 nights with great pleasure. I only wish we had a little view while sitting on the balcony, but that would be its only flaw 🙂 Everything was great, thank you.

  1stly the location was the best. It was super clean and well appointed. I love the access via their app.Being on the 1st floor and using the balcony became an afternoon ritual for the 5 o clock drinks. It made you feel part of the street life.
  The bed was cumfy and dressed in nice linen.
  I loved it and would not hesitate to stay again.
