You know what caught me off guard about Dion Luxury Suites? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to its name without feeling pretentious about it. I mean, when you see “luxury” in a hotel name, you sort of brace yourself for either disappointment or staff who act like they’re doing you a favor by taking your money – but this place hits that sweet spot where everything feels genuinely upscale without the attitude.

The suites themselves are honestly impressive. We’re talking proper living spaces here, not just a hotel room with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner and a curtain divider. The kitchenettes are actually functional (I made coffee there every morning and it didn’t feel like camping), and the separate sleeping areas give you room to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. The bathrooms – well, let’s just say they have those rainfall showerheads that actually work, plus enough counter space that two people can get ready without bumping elbows. Little things like that matter when you’re staying more than a night or two.

What really sells me on this place is how they handle the details without making a big show of it. The front desk staff knows your name by the second day, the housekeeping is thorough but not intrusive (they remember how you like your towels arranged), and honestly, the whole operation just runs smoothly. I’ve stayed at plenty of four-star places that feel chaotic behind the scenes, but Dion has that calm, organized vibe that lets you actually relax. The 9.1 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works exactly as it should. Check-in was quick, the Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner of the suite (trust me, I tested it), and when I had a question about local restaurants, the concierge gave me three solid recommendations that weren’t just the usual tourist traps. That’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay if you can swing it.

  Everything inside is luxurious and incredible. To the big fluffy bed to the well equiped and spacious bathroom. My girlfriend and I found ourselves just sitting on the comfortable chairs between sight seeing and it was just right.

  The amazing view from our room shocked us when we opened our curtains on that first night. Won’t post a pic to save that for others. The room was sufficient, best for related people. Bed was like a cloud. Hosts came to let us in when we’d locked ourselves out. It was waaay out of their way and they were kind to help us in a proper jam. Not unexpected since obviously necessary but kind, nonetheless.
  
  What could be improved: They could use some dish towels to dry dishes, or a dish dry rack. Getting into the suite after hours after a 17 hour commute was a bit difficult and the hosts patiently helped us get in.

  Location is perfect. Right at the Center of all tourist points. Can walk everywhere from here. Room itself is brand new
  
  What could be improved: Building itself is a bit old especially the elevator. It took some time to locate the right key boxes as there are so many attached on the wall. Had to try one by one

  What could be improved: If i had to do a comment of what i didn’t like was the fact that maybe it would be nice to have a bath mat and a bit more light in the bathroom. Really not anything important!

  My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Dion Luxury Suites. Spotless clean and spacious room on an apartment in the walking distance of major sites. Thanks to our host Mr.John Kappos, everything was organized to perfection.

  Excellent location close to pedestrian only street with live music every day. Beautiful view on Acropolis. 6th floor with elevator. Luxury room way above southern standards. Great price to quality ratio. AC with heating. Building is very quiet inside, there seems to be more offices than apartments.
  
  What could be improved: Missing 2 chairs and small table. One of the beds was not very comfortable and missing real duvet. Windows are hard to open and close.

  Perfect location between Monastriaki and Syntagma squares with 5 minute walk for metro to airport, Piraeus port and the sports stadiums. Near to lots of the ancient monuments and easy to walk to them. Clean and vibrant area for shops and restaurants. Blue apartment in floor 6 has great views of Parthenon and Acropolis and it was great to have an elevator to the top floor of the apartment block. Had some useful food supplies and kitchen essentials. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. Lots of storage space. The sofa bed was made up ready for our stay and the heavy curtains between the main room and the bedroom did a good job of separating the areas into 2 rooms.
  
  What could be improved: Air conditioning unit in main room was good, however in summer the bedroom would need an extra fan as a bit warm even in January. Lots of open p!an storage however would benefit from a set of drawers and also a chair as no seating if sofa bed is open.

  Location is excellent – walking distance from all the main sights and you can see the acropolis from the window! The apartment is spacious and modern. Great value for what you're paying for.

  Beautiful! Large rooms, completely new, well equipped, great service by the host! The location is the best thing here – it's really a game changer, especially for families.
  
  What could be improved: One of the rooms (blue room) was noisy. Others were quiet.
