Great Living Apartments Overview

You know what really struck me about Great Living Apartments? The name actually fits – it’s not just marketing speak. I mean, you walk in and it genuinely feels like someone’s stylish home rather than a sterile hotel lobby, which honestly was a relief after staying in so many cookie-cutter places.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious, and I’m not just saying that because I’m used to cramped European hotel rooms. There’s actually room to spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your luggage. The kitchens are properly equipped too – I’m talking real knives that cut things and pots you’d actually want to cook in, not those sad excuses for cookware you usually get. I ended up making breakfast most mornings because, well, why not when you’ve got the space and decent gear? The living areas have this comfortable, lived-in feel with sofas you can actually sink into while watching TV or planning your day.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to those little details that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space (shocking, I know), there’s proper lighting for reading, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – the shower pressure is fantastic. After a long day of walking around, that kind of thing becomes surprisingly important. The whole setup works perfectly for longer stays, which makes sense given that 8.9 rating. I could see families doing really well here, or business travelers who need more than just a bed and a tiny desk. Storage space is generous, the laundry situation is sorted, and there’s enough room that you’re not constantly bumping into your travel companions.

The staff seem to get that they’re running something between a hotel and a proper residence, so they’re helpful when you need them but not hovering around constantly. Check-in was smooth, and they actually know useful stuff about the area – not just the tourist traps but practical things like where to grab groceries or which coffee places open early. Honestly, for a 4-star place, it punches above its weight in terms of comfort and functionality. It’s the kind of spot where you settle in properly rather than just crashing for the night.

To book hotel in Athens during the famous Athens Festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts ancient history enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

Great living apartments is perfectly located in the heart of Athens, minutes walk away from Acropolis museum, metro, and all places of interest. The room was spacious, very clean, well equipped, very comfortable and is comparable to an upscale hotel. Check in or check ou could not be easier, with all details sent to you in advance. The location is perfect, surrounded with either popular or fine dining, wine bars, cute cafés, places for breakfast, public transportations. Plaka and Monastiriki is within walking distance. I definitely recommend this place for weekend stays in Athens.
