But then I actually stayed there, and wow, this place totally changed my perspective on what a boutique hotel experience can be. The “Top Floors with Amazing City View” part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff – they really mean it. I was on the 18th floor, and honestly, watching the city wake up from those floor-to-ceiling windows with my morning coffee became this little ritual I actually looked forward to.
What struck me most was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling luxurious but not intimidating. You know what I mean? The lobby has this modern vibe without being cold, and the staff – well, they’re available 24 hours like the name promises, but more importantly, they actually seem to want to help rather than just going through the motions. I had this weird situation where I needed to print boarding passes at 2 AM (don’t ask), and not only did they sort it out, but the night manager knew exactly which nearby pharmacy would be open early the next morning when I mentioned I’d forgotten my contact solution. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t fake.
The suites themselves live up to that “cozy” promise, though I’d say they’re more sophisticated-cozy than rustic-cozy. The beds are ridiculously comfortable – I’m talking sink-right-in-and-forget-your-worries comfortable. And the city views, especially at sunset, are genuinely spectacular. A very spacious studio apartment with everything we could’ve needed! There was a washing machine, an airer on the balcony, plenty of toiletries, cooking facilities, kitchenware and more. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the view from the balcony was lovely. Watching the sunset was very relaxing.
Our hosts were very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They offered suggestions for supermarkets and places to eat, as well as allowing us to store our luggage after we checked out.
