Now, about the apartment itself – three bedrooms means you’ve got real space to spread out, which is rare in central Athens. The layout actually makes sense (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case), and there’s this natural light that pours in during the morning that honestly makes your coffee taste better. The kitchen is properly equipped too – I’m talking real appliances, not those mini-fridges that barely hold a yogurt. You know what really impressed me though? The little details. Quality linens that don’t feel scratchy, decent water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – the WiFi actually works in every room. After staying in places where you have to stand in one specific corner to get internet, this felt like luxury.

The neighborhood really comes alive in the evenings, especially around Skoufa Street where locals gather at the wine bars and traditional tavernas. You’ll hear Greek conversation mixing with the occasional English or French – it’s that kind of international residential area that still feels authentically Athenian. Parking can be a bit tricky (it’s Athens, after all), but there are spots if you’re patient, and honestly, you might not even need a car since the metro is close and everything interesting is walkable. The grocery stores nearby are solid too – there’s this little market that has amazing olives and fresh bread, plus a proper supermarket for anything else you need.

  Absolutely fabulous location and great communication with the owners. Two metro stop locations only 5 minutes away. 15 minute walk to the Teleferik for Lycavitos. Great bakeries and small markets nearby. The apartment is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The A/C is fantastically cold, and we loved having a washer to keep up with laundry. The two bathrooms are full bathrooms (each with a shower). We had a couple of lightbulbs out, but otherwise it was simply perfect. We will definitely stay here again if we come with a large group to Athens again!

  The apartment, besides being nicely appointed and very roomy, is centrally located yet very quiet. Great neighborhood! Walking distance to the best shopping, art galleries, bars, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, as well as to the metro station. Athena and Eleni are lovely—personable and very helpful.

  It is the 4th time we stay in this property. it is Close to everything we need, walking distance, easier to have a taxi waiting for you, very quiet, and well equiped house with comfortable rooms. It fits 6 people even very nicely. We are a family of 4 so it is an excellent house for us.
