I mean, that might sound like a small thing, but it immediately made the place feel more like someone’s well-kept home than a corporate chain property.

The suites themselves are honestly impressive – and I say that as someone who’s stayed in way too many places that promise “suite” accommodations but deliver glorified hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. These are legitimate separate living spaces where you can actually spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too (I’m talking real plates, not paper ones), which saved me a fortune on dining out. The beds are that perfect firmness level where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with the mattress all night, and the linens are genuinely soft – not that scratchy hotel cotton you sometimes get even at nice places.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the attention to detail that you only notice when you’ve been traveling for a while. The shower pressure is excellent (seriously, you don’t realize how much bad hotel showers annoy you until you find a good one), there are plenty of outlets near the bed for charging devices, and the air conditioning actually works quietly. The staff remembers your name after the first day, which sounds cheesy but honestly makes a difference when you’re dealing with travel stress. I had an issue with my key card one evening around 10 PM, and instead of the eye-rolling attitude you sometimes get at that hour, the front desk person was genuinely helpful and even asked how my day went while fixing it. The whole property feels well-maintained without being stuffy – like they care about the details but aren’t obsessing over every tiny thing. With a 9.1 rating, you’d expect it to be good, but sometimes highly-rated places can feel a bit too polished, you know? This strikes that sweet spot where everything works well but still feels comfortable and unpretentious. It’s the kind of place where you can walk through the lobby in flip-flops without feeling underdressed, but it’s nice enough that you’d be happy to bring your parents or boss if they were visiting.

  The room was very big, had all kinds of amenities you need, i appreciated the kitchenette. The building inside is beautiful and very well kept, has a nice smell, and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, i slept very well. I appreciated the presence of preexisting accounts for streaming channels on the smart tv. The staff was very kind and helpful, let me keep my luggage in their storage for free even after check out, wonderful people! Only 15/20 mins by feet from the city's historical center, and very close to bus and metro stations. Perfect if you want to take the bus to the Poseidon temple, which leaves right next to the apartment. There's also lots of grocery stores and eateries nearby. The window has a mosquito net built in so there were no bugs of any kind.
  
  What could be improved: The neighbourhood in which the building is located is not super safe, be careful when it's late night if you're alone. There's often noise coming from the streets, but the AC was very very loud and made lots of noise so i had to sleep with the window open, which is ok for now but with the hotter seasons i don't know how it could feel.

  Convenient location. Quirky retro decor. Excellent shower and kitchenette facilities. A walking distance to a fantastic fish restaurant- Thinalos-well worth a visit. Perfect size for a family of four .

  The place is absolutely perfect. I’ve stayed here for two nights and to be honest I couldn’t ask for more. Easy access on the road. Main station is like 8 mins walk. Convenience store is like a minute walk next to the place. They got everything and I mean like EVERYTHING utensils, hair blower, oven and a tiny stove attached to it which I find very amusing, and a mini fridge. You can literally save money from buying breakfast. All you have to do is go to the convenience store next to it and buy the groceries. Overall, the place is top notch!
  
  What could be improved: Ghetto neighbourhood but safe to walk at night. From my experience I was literally walking back home 2am in the morning.

  Clean, friendly, quiet, spacious…really perfect, and a huge value for the money. A great little kitchenette!

  I also found tasty, cheap Taverna eats nearby (no frills, well-worn, watering holes; definitely for the “adventurous”).
  EASY metro access to get to city center.
  
  What could be improved: It’s in a very distressed neighborhood. The owners obviously have no control over that, and their whole building was lovely and homey, safe with passcodes, all through the inside. But, you’re definitely going to need to feel at ease walking through some fairly gritty urban street life. If you’re a “boots and all” traveler, it’s great.
