I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name MEDLUXE COZY APARTMENT!, I was a bit skeptical. The all-caps thing with the exclamation point made it sound like one of those places that oversells and underdelivers, you know? But actually, this 4-star spot really surprised me in the best way possible. There’s something genuinely welcoming about walking into a place that feels more like you’re staying at a well-traveled friend’s apartment than some sterile hotel room. The space has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – I mean, the furniture actually matches and there are real books on the shelves, not just decorative ones.

What really won me over was the attention to details that most places completely miss. The shower pressure is actually decent (thank god), and they’ve got blackout curtains that work properly – you know how rare that is? I stayed there during a particularly busy weekend and honestly expected some noise issues, but the walls are surprisingly solid. The kitchen setup is where this place really shines though. It’s not just one of those sad mini-fridges with a broken microwave situation. They’ve got proper cookware, decent knives, even coffee that doesn’t taste like cardboard. I ended up making breakfast most mornings because, well, why not? There’s a little market just around the corner where you can grab fresh stuff without having to venture too far.

The whole experience feels refreshingly unpolished in the right ways – there’s no overly cheerful front desk person trying to upsell you on spa packages, no elevator music that makes you want to scream. Check-in was straightforward, almost casual, which I actually prefer. That 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails the things that actually matter when you’re trying to get some decent sleep and maybe feel a bit at home somewhere new. The location works well too – you’re close enough to interesting stuff without being right in the middle of all the tourist chaos. I’d definitely stay again, and I’m pretty picky about these things.

  Everything was wonderful. Thru What’s App Dino’s kept us informed and Claudia was waiting for us when we arrived. She explained everything to us, daily cleaning & restocking of frig. There was water, orange juice, eggs, bread, package of cheese and meat slices for sandwiches. A cabinet of things for cooking things. Metro station is only about 3 blocks away and accessible to a variety of stores & restaurants. Our favorite is Tuk Tuk Thai street food. Washer and drying rack is there for clothes. We would definitely come back here anytime!!!

  Very convenient location with supermarkets and the Acropolis within a ten minute walk. Dinos is highly responsive as well and helpful with setting up taxi transfers. The washer is helpful as well if you’re at the tail end of your trip. Breakfast is stocked daily as well.

  Excellent location. Quiet. Comfortable. Private. Cleaned and restocked with food and water every day. Washed clothes every day. Air conditioning was a welcome feature. Coffee and espresso machine excellent! Panini and microwave. Cannot say enough good things. Thank you Dinos😊

  Really lovely apartment, lots of space (bedroom and living room), air conditioner, nice kitchen with everything needed, Acropolis nearby, very nice place.

  Very modern and newly renovated appartement with balcony and everything needed for a city trip to Athens.
  The location is phantastic – 10min walk to Acropolis, restaurants (great prices!), cafe's, supermarket all around the corner. Metro/Tram is a 5 min walk.
  It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable and we had basic groceries in the fridge when we arrived. Wifi worked perfectly fine. We were awaited with the key when we arrived.

  A member of the staff contacted us from our arrival at the airport and met us at the door. They showed us around, explained the appliances, and answered all our questions. A staff member came every day to clean up and restock the food. Fantastic service all around! The location was super, just a short walk from the metro station, many restaurants in walking distance, and with almost no traffic noise.

  Great location in a calm neighbourhood at walking distance to the city centre. Good value for money. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Very close to public transportation (metro and buses). Nice, local restaurants nearby. Corresponds to what was advertised. The host, Dinos, was very helpful and friendly.

  Location was fabulous, so close to Acropolis & Tour offices. So many different types of restaurants & shops also very close. Apartment is safe & clean and supplied plenty food & drinks & cleaning products, beautiful soft towels, all amenities replaced daily.

  An overall good experience, the place is accessible to almost whole of Central Athens by walk, saves you a lot of money from transportation. Lovely eating places and daily need supermarket within 200M.
