You know what caught me off guard about OLIVER SUITES? The lobby actually feels like someone’s really well-designed living room rather than your typical hotel reception area. I mean, there are these deep leather chairs that you could honestly get lost in for hours, and the lighting is warm enough that you don’t feel like you’re under interrogation when you’re checking in.

The suites themselves are where this place really shines though – and I’m being picky here because I’ve stayed in plenty of places that call themselves “suites” when they’re basically just regular rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner. These are legitimate suites with separate living areas that actually make sense. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped too; I was able to make proper coffee in the morning (not that pod nonsense) and even threw together a decent breakfast without having to venture out. The beds are firm but not rock-hard – you know that sweet spot where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with your mattress all night. And honestly, the soundproofing is better than most places I’ve tried. I barely heard any hallway chatter or elevator dings, which is saying something since I’m usually the person complaining about noise.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to details that actually matter when you’re traveling. The Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously cut out every twenty minutes, there are enough outlets near the bed (thank you!), and the shower pressure is strong enough that you don’t feel like you’re being misted by a garden sprinkler. The housekeeping staff clearly knows what they’re doing – towels were properly fluffy, not those thin things that feel like sandpaper. I also appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with the whole “eco-friendly” thing to the point where you can’t get fresh towels when you need them. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprise fees, and the front desk folks seemed to genuinely want to help rather than just get you processed and out of their way. With that 8.7 rating, I’d say they’ve earned it – this feels like a solid four-star experience without any pretentious nonsense. It’s the kind of place where you can spread out your stuff, get comfortable, and not feel like you’re camping out in someone else’s space.

  Very accommodating, allowed us to drop off our bags hours before check in, which was much appreciated. The location was perfect! One street over from the main Acropolis and Plaka areas. Nice deck area to sit outside in morning or evening

  Pretty easy self checkin, all instructions were sent in advance and everything worked perfectly. Great apartment in great location, close to most spots in Athens and in a very nice neighborhood. We found a place nearby to park our car and we could walk to anywhere. The balcony is a plus, we loved to use it for breakfast. Confortable beds and big kitchen also.

  Very kind and patient host who replied to my messages straight away and helped us with all the luggage during the check-in. We could also leave our stuff after the check-out until the evening ant we could explore the city freely.

  Easy check-in experience when we arrived around midnight. Excellent location, only a minutes walk away from an area filled with restaurants and shops which stay open until late. Very responsive host who arranged our transfers from the airport and to the ferry port on request. Apartment was very clean and well equipped for our 4 night stay.

  The appartment was spacious, close to Acropolis museum and Plaka. Excellent location, if you come to Athens by plane. 5 minute walk from the south gate of the Acropolis. It's located on the 4th flour, with an elevator and a big terrace. It was nicely equipped, clean and the beds were all very comfortable. The appartment had a self check in, with clear instructions on how to enter. We had a really nice time in it.

  Nice and roomy. Family of four adults comfortably fit in. Beds were comfortable. Aircon in every room – big bonus in the peak of summer! Easy walk to main attractions. Host very accommodating. I would highly recommend.

  Super functional accommodation at the best location. You are just few steps away from the metro station Acropolis, right at the foot of the Acropolis hill and the museum. The value for money is unbeatable, the host very responsive. We were also able to store our luggage upon the arrival which was much appreciated. I truly recommend this place if you are looking to stay for couple of days at the very heart of Athens.

  Fantastic place. The apartment is clean, large and spacious with well-functioning air conditioning. Very close to the Acropolis and Plaka. there are many restaurants, cafes and very close to the old part with shops and restaurants. Akropolis metro station is 5 minutes from the facility. Owner Nice and helpful. He responds very quickly to requests and inquiries. we are satisfied and recommend this place. Thank you
