The whole vibe hits you right when you walk through the lobby – it’s got this sort of understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, if that makes sense. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing (check-in was smooth, no awkward waiting around), and there’s this attention to detail that you notice in small ways. Like, the lighting is actually good – not those harsh overhead fluorescents that make you look terrible in bathroom mirrors, but warm lighting that makes the whole place feel welcoming. The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in quality without feeling worn down, and honestly, the beds are fantastic. I mean, I’m pretty picky about mattresses, but I slept better there than I have in most hotels.

What really won me over, though, was how the place handles the little things that can make or break a stay. The water pressure is excellent – and trust me, after a long day of walking around, that matters more than fancy marble countertops. Speaking of which, the bathrooms are well-designed without being over the top, with enough counter space to actually spread out your stuff. The rooms stay surprisingly quiet too, even when I could tell the place was pretty full. I think it’s the way the building is laid out – you don’t get that constant hallway noise that drives you crazy at some hotels. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building (revolutionary concept, I know), and there are enough outlets that you’re not doing weird furniture gymnastics to charge your phone. Look, these might seem like basic things, but you’d be amazed how many places get them wrong. The whole experience just felt… thoughtful, I guess? Like someone who actually travels designed this place instead of someone who just looked at hotel magazines. It’s the kind of spot where you can tell they’ve figured out the balance between being professional and being genuinely hospitable, and that combination is honestly pretty rare these days.

  I stayed at the Poseidon Residence in Athens with my friends.
  The flat was very nice and the landlords helped with minor problems within hours. The location is very central and the kitchen has most of what you need. We felt very comfortable and would come back again.

  The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center, requiring some travel to reach the main attractions.
  However, for a quiet and secure place to stay, it's an great choice.

  Clean, cosy, 2 bedroom apartment with 3 tvs. Well equipped. All you needed was in the apartment. Easy and secured access to the apartment. Quiet and safe location. Shops, restaurants and cafes on your feet, subway 15 min and 30 in the syntagma square. You can pick taxis from the corner as they passing by.
