I’ll be honest – when I first saw the listing for Stunning 2-Bedrooms Apartment in the heart of Athens, I was a bit skeptical. You know how vacation rental names can be, well, overly optimistic. But after spending a week there last spring, I get why they went with that description. The place actually lives up to the hype, which is saying something for a 4-star property with a 9.5 rating (those numbers had me wondering if the reviews were legit).

The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of space that you just don’t expect in central Athens. The two bedrooms are genuinely roomy – I mean, you can actually walk around the bed without doing some weird sideways shuffle. What really got me though was how quiet it was at night. I was bracing myself for the usual city noise, but the windows must be properly insulated because even during the weekend when the nearby tavernas were buzzing, we slept like babies. The kitchen is where this place really shines – it’s got everything you’d want if you’re planning to cook (and honestly, with the local markets so close, you’ll want to). I found myself making coffee there every morning instead of rushing out to cafes, which is rare for me when I travel.

The location is what makes this apartment special, though. You’re right in the thick of things without being overwhelmed by tourist crowds. There’s this little bakery about two blocks down that locals actually use – not one of those overpriced spots near the Acropolis. The metro station is close enough that you don’t need taxis everywhere, but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant foot traffic outside your window. I particularly loved that you could walk to Monastiraki in about fifteen minutes, but when you wanted to escape the chaos, you just headed back to what felt like a proper neighborhood. The building itself has character – those old Athens apartment buildings with the marble stairs and vintage elevator that makes you hold your breath, but in a charming way. Check-in was surprisingly smooth; the owner met us personally and gave us the kind of local tips you can’t find in guidebooks. One small thing – the shower pressure could be better, but honestly, after walking around Athens all day, you’re just grateful to rinse off the dust and sweat.

  The place was perfect – located in a quiet area of the city, yet still close enough to Monastiraki to reach it easily on foot. The neighborhood felt peaceful and safe, and the B&B itself was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were incredibly helpful – always punctual, thoughtful, and precise in their communication and support. Highly recommended!

  The apartment is really cosy and modern. The kitchen has everything needed. The TV is big and has Netflix, YouTube etc. The balcony is very big and the location is also pretty good for trips around the city. All in all, I can really recommend this apartment!

  lovely comfortable flat in an interesting anarchic locality but walkable to all the main sites. Good cheap varied restaurants all around.

  The property was a neat apartment in Omonio .. a stones throw from the station it was a very convenient location as everything was within walking distance , the graffiti covered locale didn’t bother me but may put off people unaware or oblivious to its unique charm , the property was exactly what we needed my other half was able to happily use the cooking faculties however she did point out the lack of toaster 🤣 minor minor issue !

  Special shout out to the host Mr David Ezra , on hand since the moment I booked it to patiently answer seer my asinine questions crystal clear instructions , also the first host I’ve met in person as he was quick to attend when a slight issue occurred , lovely amenable chap (sorry I broke your soap dispenser dude )

  The apartment is beautiful furnished and has an amazing terrace. The location is close enough to the city center to either walk or take the subway close by. There are quite a few restaurant and cafes just around the corner. David is a great host and very responsive.
  
  What could be improved: On the weekend it was very noisy at night from all the clubs and bars around. Which made it hard to sleep. During the week it was completely fine.

  Everything was perfect – the apartment was super clean, very close to main city attractions, had all necessary facilities. We had a lot of lovely evenings in the terrace 🙂 The host was friendly and communicative too 🙂 Check-in instructions were clear and easy; and we enjoyed the neighbourhood – it was quiet and we always felt safe. I would definitely recommend this for others, we'd stay here again whenever we come back to Athens! 🙂
