What I really appreciated was the little details they got right: proper blackout curtains that actually block light, decent water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound weird – but the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine taking off every time it kicks in.

The 4-star rating feels spot-on here, maybe even conservative. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works the way it should, and the staff seems to actually care about whether you’re comfortable. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no complicated explanations about amenities I’ll never use. The cleaning service is thorough without being intrusive, and they’re flexible about timing if you need to work around your schedule. Honestly, the 8.2 rating makes sense when you consider this place delivers on the basics exceptionally well rather than promising the moon and falling short. I’d definitely come back – it’s the kind of spot where you can actually relax instead of spending your whole stay figuring out how everything works or dealing with little annoyances that add up. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a temporary home rather than just a place to crash, The Edge gets it right.

  The Edge offered a very well planned stylish apartment with a bathroom and extra toilet, two tv screens and most fittings anyone would need for a longer stay. The gym was really well equipped and available most of the time. The rooftop terrace was nice although pool rather small size. Communication with staff was excellent from the start and throughout our stay and they were very kind, well organised and helpful.

  While not really close to the main sights, apartment is close to a nice area with bars and restaurants. walkable to acropolis in 20 mins. really comfortable apartment with good air-conditioning.
