This place sits right in the heart of Athens, and I mean actually central, not that fake “central” some places claim when they’re twenty minutes from anything worth seeing. You step off the elevator and immediately notice how quiet it is up there, which is honestly surprising given that you’re surrounded by the usual Athens buzz down below.

The solar setup is legit impressive – I’m talking proper panels that actually power most of what you need, including that jacuzzi that becomes your best friend after a day of climbing around the Acropolis (which, by the way, you can see glimpses of from certain angles if you crane your neck just right). The sauna was what really got me though. I mean, who puts a sauna in an Athens penthouse? It sounds crazy until you’re actually using it on a cooler evening with the city lights starting to twinkle below. The whole setup feels like someone really thought about what would make a stay memorable rather than just checking boxes on a luxury amenities list.

What I really appreciated – and this is coming from someone who’s stayed in way too many places that look better in photos – is how everything actually works. The jacuzzi maintains its temperature properly, the solar hot water doesn’t run out when you need it most, and the air conditioning keeps things comfortable even during those brutal August afternoons when Athens turns into an oven. The space itself has this interesting modern-meets-Mediterranean thing going on, lots of natural light during the day and surprisingly good blackout options when you want to sleep in. You know what really sealed it for me though? The little details like actually decent water pressure, a kitchen that’s equipped for real cooking (not just coffee and toast), and windows that open properly so you can get that evening breeze when the temperature finally drops. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself planning to stay in rather than just crash between sightseeing marathons, which honestly says everything about a place in a city like Athens where there’s always something pulling you out the door.

  Nikolas was the perfect host; fixed some problems with boiler, we could check out later and was always responsive to messages or questions via whatsapp. Absolutely amazing host. The room had a lot of facilities, especially the outdoor facilities were great. If I come back to Athens I will definitely revisit this place without a doubt!

  What an absolute Gem of a property. So quirky and fun and had the most amazing rooftop with hot tub & sauna. We also loved the outside/inside living room and outdoor kitchen. Honestly was just so lovely and we both felt right at home.

  Beautiful little coffee shops ad restaurants just outside and only a 10 minute walk to the underground so everything was really accessible

  A literal oasis! We never wanted to leave. We loved the ability to cook and watch tv in any of the rooms. The hot tub at night mixed with the sauna was just an added bonus! The owner of the location is so kind and willing to help in any way! Worth every penny!

  Simply outstanding. Clearly a huge amount of thought and care has gone into creating an amazing hub of relaxation in the heart of a busy city. A private penthouse with all you could imagine if you need to switch off after a busy day. Jacuzzi? No problem. Hammock? No problem. Projector screen? No problem. Super comfy bed and sofas? No problem. 2 minutes walk from an awesome takeaway and supermarket and only 20 mins from the Acropolis. Cannot speak highly enough of this place and the owner who deserves huge credit for creating this beautiful space.

  The apartment is really nice with a lot of privacy – it is located on the last floor in building with medical practices and library – we didn't see any neighbors etc. It's also nearby metro, 10 mins walk from Ambelokipi station. Apartment match exatctly the description. There are a lot od gadgets and many essentials which we really appreciated (coffee, wine, beer, cola, shower gels..). We've been there in winter, and we could still enjoy the hot tub and terace. We will definetly come back sometime in summer! Nikolas was a really nice host, available when we had a question about the hot tub set up. 🙂 Thank you.

  This apartment is the gateway to heaven. The apartment is smaller, but very cosy, clean and well equipped. And the winter garden with a terrace full of greenery took our breath away. A quiet place in the middle of a noisy city. I love the terrace and relaxing in the jacuzzi in the evening!
  We love Athens, we go here often, and I believe that we will return to this apartment as well. Thank you Nikolas!
