A unique apartment in the historical center-3BDs Overview
You know what really surprised me about A unique apartment in the historical center-3BDs? It actually lives up to that “unique” claim – and honestly, I’m usually pretty skeptical when places throw that word around. This isn’t your typical cookie-cutter rental situation at all.
The moment you step inside, you get this immediate sense that someone put real thought into how people actually want to live when they’re traveling. The three bedrooms are spread out in a way that makes sense – I mean, you’re not bumping into each other trying to get ready in the morning, which is huge when you’re traveling with a group. The historical center location means you’re literally surrounded by centuries-old architecture, and from some of the windows you can catch glimpses of those narrow cobblestone streets that GPS always seems to get confused about. Actually, speaking of getting there – fair warning that most historical centers aren’t super car-friendly, so you might want to figure out your parking situation ahead of time. But that’s part of the charm, really.
What I love most is how they’ve managed to blend the old-world character (think original stonework and those impossibly thick walls that keep everything cool in summer) with stuff that actually works for modern travelers. The kitchen isn’t just for show – you can legitimately cook a proper meal, which is perfect because wandering around historical centers all day works up an appetite, and sometimes you just want to grab groceries from the local market and eat like a human being instead of restaurant-hopping constantly. The WiFi is solid too, which matters more than people want to admit when they’re traveling. I’ve stayed in too many “charming” places where the internet barely works and you end up huddled in cafes trying to upload photos. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where the small details add up to something that feels effortless, even though you know someone sweated the details to make it work this well. Plus, being in the heart of everything means you can stumble back after dinner without worrying about last trains or taxi availability, which is honestly underrated when you’re somewhere new and just want to explore without constantly checking the time.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Athens through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s ancient heritage and modern attractions.

Reviews of A unique apartment in the historical center-3BDs
Ildiko from Hungary (10/10)
This apartment is perfect for 4-5 adults. It has 3 bedrooms and a nice big living room and separate kitchen. It was really clean, well-maintained, and also quiet. The host was very helpful, let us leave our luggage in the apartment during cleaning. The area was superb. Very close to the main attractions and right next to a nice pedestrian street that had many restaurants (not touristy, rather local). Everything was in walking distance.

This apartment is huge, well laid out and appointed with furnishings, etc. It's in a super location for seeing Athens and has pretty much everything you'd want to enjoy a holiday. We were able to spread out and enjoy the flat, do some laundry, (which was all in Greek and German), sleep in and really get out into the city, the metro station is very convenient. A grocery story and pharmacy are right there and a good breakfast place at the end of the block, Mikromeria.

Joseph from United States of America (9/10)
The friendly cleaning lady met us at the door to the building and walked us around the apartment. Things were a little challenging since she didn't speak English, but electronic translators, gestures, and demonstrations were able to suffice. The tap water was potable (it is in most of Athens). The apartment is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and no bugs! Many mini split A/C systems keep it comfortable. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom. I recall only an espresso machine, so enjoy your 2 oz coffee. The apartment was walking distance (15 minutes, give or take?) to the Acropolis. There was also a pharmacy, subway station, souvenir shops, grocery bodega, and multiple restaurants right down the street, but still a quiet street. We all individually felt very safe walking around at night too. Restaurants at the end of the street have a beautiful view of the Acropolis at night. I recall a small 2-person (or 1 pretty fat American) elevator. The building entrance has 3-4 stairs, no ADA Ramp (that I recall), so not sure its wheelchair friendly. The owner can verify.
