I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Delice Hotel – Family Apartments, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The word “delice” had me thinking maybe French influence? But what I found was something much more straightforward and, frankly, exactly what families actually need when they’re traveling.

Instead, they’ve put their energy into the stuff that matters when you’re hauling kids and suitcases around. The apartments – and I mean actual apartments, not just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner – give you space to spread out and actually live a little. There’s something so refreshing about having a proper kitchen where you can make breakfast without paying €15 for hotel scrambled eggs, or store leftovers from dinner the night before. The living areas are thoughtfully laid out too, with enough seating that everyone isn’t crowded onto one bed trying to watch TV together.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to maintain that hotel service feel while giving you the independence of an apartment stay. Housekeeping still comes through (though you can opt out if you’re the type who gets weird about people touching your stuff), and the front desk staff actually knows what’s going on in the area – not just the touristy stuff, but practical things like which grocery store stays open late and where to find a pharmacy. The 8.5 rating makes total sense because this place delivers on its promise without any unpleasant surprises. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually works throughout the building, and honestly, the soundproofing between units is better than I expected. I mean, you’ll still hear some neighbor noise if you’re listening for it, but nothing that’ll wake you up at night. The whole setup just feels like they’ve thought through what families need – extra towels without having to ask, decent water pressure, and enough electrical outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your phone chargers. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax instead of constantly managing logistics, which, if you’ve traveled with kids, you know is worth its weight in gold.
